Kevin Love is terrible. a combo of Ryan Anderson and Tristan Thompson would be virtually identical.

Wiggins need to start rebounding the ball better. Under 4 rpg is unacceptable for a player 6'8 with his athleticism.
But right now, Wiggins is the better scorer than Love. More points on a higher percentage, and he's been tearing it up lately.

Wiggins is much better
Its amazing how Lebron led this Cavs team to a 8-1 record by himself

Love is better for the Cavs
Is he?
A line-up of:
Kyrie
Wiggins
LeBron
Thompson
Mozgov
Looks pretty darn good if you ask me. 3 players who can create their own shot and two beasts on the glass with good interior defense.
AND one less max contract in Love to deal with right now.

Wiggins would pretty much just be a slightly better Shumpert since hed be the third option behind Lebron and Kyrie
He needs to be a #1 option to max his potential

Oh of course him being a #1 option is better for his development and reaching his potential...but he could also be a good fit on the Cavs right now if him and Love were to switch.

Love provides elite rebounding, spacing, and he's been operating out of the post. It also allows Thompson to come off the bench which makes the second unit much deeper. They wouldn't really have a legit PF in the 2nd unit if Thompson is starting.

The cavs are better on both ends of the floor with love than they are without him and the stats back that up. Shumps defesense is on another level compared to wig who isn't even a plus defender.

People seem to be forgetting that love is coming off major shoulder surgery. He has been shooting for like a month , give him some time his shot will start falling. Hell he dam near had a 20/20 night a couple of games ago.

Ill take the guy averaging 16/12 coming off shoulder injury over 21/2/3

Love's a bit better right now but he's certainly not fitting as nicely as the Cavs were hoping. Passing up on Wiggins might haunt them in the future.

Wiggins doesn't fit next to lebron in theory as well as Love should, but I think people overlooked how much Love liked to work in the post or with his back to the basket. He's long range shot got hyped up and he sounded like the perfect compliment next to Lebron..
