Put 2010 Gasol on the 2008 Lakers, do they beat Boston?

2010 Gasol was much improved from 2008 Gasol. Do the Lakers push the series to 7 games? Or even better, beat the Celtics in Boston?

Pau Gasol in 2010 was great, but I'm not sure he would net LA 2 more wins against THAT Boston team.

If the Lakers had Bynum and/or Ariza playing, they probably would've beaten Boston though.

What do you think '08 Bynum could put up against '08 Perkins?

He put up 7 PPG and 5 RPG in 2010.
Gasol put up 14 PPG and 10 RPG in 2008 at C.

Bynum was fool's gold. Garbage attitude towards the game. Injuries aside he was never going to take advantage of his physical tools.

Yes, Gasol being bullied was one of the main reasons Lakers lost that series if not the main one.
That series goes at least 7 close games if we change gasols

The 08 Lakers were rolling out a SF rotation of Vladimir Radmonvic and Luke Walton in the playoffs.

09 Ariza or 10 Artest makes more sense IMO. With those SF's, I think the 08 Lakers could play any style.
