He looks fresher this season and is trying to play off the ball as much as he can. He only demands the ball in the 4th quarter.

Been kinda strange but his jumper looks to be back..for now.
And he's been super clutch so far.

LeBron with the skills...he still looks a little stiffer than he has in the past but his skills are at the highest level yet.
Happy to see a decent Melo vs Bron matchup in 2015.

In Curry's shadow, he's having a great start to the season. It's being slept on too. Cavs have only lost one game. He's been clutch. He's been a scorer. A distributor, and defender again. Shooting 50% from the field. He'll fly under the radar until the playoffs or Finals ala MJ 1993 and 1997. Still the best player in the league.
I don't see how his body can take this kind of load for many more seasons. Dude is a maniac.

He's still the best player in the league. Even with the back issue he's even showed good athleticism. Few of those breakaway dunks his head was at rim level like back in the day.

I still can't get over the fact that great talents like Jordan and LBJ have actually flew under the radar at any points in their careers. I guess this is what Jordan fans were feeling when everyone wouldn't shut up about Malone and Barkley in those times :oldlol:

It's frustrating.
People get caught up in flavor of the week, when a player is SO DOMINANT for SO LONG that it literally becomes boring for the media, or even fans. They have to find something new to promote.
MJ was the best player in the league, and probably should've been MVP every season from '88 to '97 when he played.
Ironically 1998 was the only season where I felt individually someone was possibly better, that being Shaq. But he didn't play as many games, and underperformed with that Laker team.
Same goes for LeBron. He's been pretty definitively, especially in retrospect, as the best player in the league since 2009. The league has had to promote different guys
Durant in 2014 before his injury.
Curry in 2015 and 2016.
Have gotten the biggest pushes. But even those guys I don't really have the feeling they were better. In heart of hearts, every true basketball fan knows that too.

I don't disagree. He's been amazing, the season is only a few weeks old.

LEBRON looks even better than he did last season. He's not being overlooked. People are just used to him dominating the media. Curry is doing some amazing things, the team is on a roll and they are the champs so its understandable he's getting headlines. He's no flavor of the week.
And goddam LEBRON is quick as hell and built like an action figure. :oldlol:

LeBron forced Melo into a 1-9 shooting second half (plus last play of the first). Bron forced Melo into multiple last second shots, airballs, TO's, poking the ball out of the post.. it was a sign of his entire defense so far this year, a rejuvenated one, that has him looking to be a DPOTY candidate again. He directly one on one guarded Melo on all those trips, too.
13 years in hasn't lost a single step. goat.
Bran shooting 52.5% on isolations so far this year
