And somehow he's still shooting better than DJ.

Made 14 of his first 21, fooling RRR3 into thinking he wouldn't be that painful to own in fantasy :(

Along with that, his offensive game isn't polished either and is pretty limited. His amazing rebounding does make up for it, though.

How are you feeling about Big Daddy V this year? Looks like he's taken the next step, perhaps.

I'm not sure about blindfolded, but I'm beginning to wonder if I could shoot FT's better than Andre Drummond. And I am a truly horrible basketball player.

Horrible or not, how the hell could you not make 4 out of 25 free throws to shoot better than him :lol

I always wonder why none of these players who struggle so much with their FTs just try to bank it off the glass. It maybe because they think it doesn't look good, but at some point you gotta get over your pride to help the team.

Final confirmation that he's Wilt's son

Granny style.

What's more embarrassing: shooting a pedestrian 70% granny style (which would probably be the end low for %) or shooting 35% from the line, airballing one out of every ten attempts?

Even Wilt was a better free throw shooter than Drummond.

Jonas, Kyle, and DeMar look good. Jonas has definitely benefited off more touches. I think the key with him is just mental. He gets down on himself too many times and it effects the rest of his game.

Not to mention, banking from the free throw line is a shot based on the idea of being able to aim the ball in a straight line, which is the problem for a lot of these awful free throw shooters to begin with. If Drummond's free throw problems were just a matter of shooting too hard or too soft, he'd be in good shape. Unfortunately, his shot's just all over the place.

I figure they shoot at least 100 FTs every practice session more or less, keeping focus on a solid wide object like the glass is easier than trying to aim for the whole and getting the trajectory of the shot right. And when you hit the glass there is a chance it bounces off the rim and go in, so always a better bet than trying to swish FTs.

Yah but he makes up for it by putting in 3 guys worth of work on the boards.
