for his size his passing/vision/bball iq already looks elite.

i saw the highlights and was instantly impressed with his passing ability and even his off the court demeanor. seems like a bright, hungry kid.

His game looks like it'll translate in ways, but everything can change once adjusted to NBA bodies and the NBA pace.

I was lucky enough to see him play in person against our local NBL team - who are currently 9-1 - and feature a lot of former Div 1 talent. (And before anyone drops an "LOL NBL Ozzie ball," they smacked LSU by like 35).

Simmons was far, far, far and away the best player on the Tigers and the only one who held his own against the pros. He did everything from post up and crash the glass to initiate the offense. He has all the physical tools to hang in the NBA, plus he has a great feel for the game and plays "the right way." His best skill right now is probably his passing.

If he can continue to improve his jumpshot and add a go-to move or two in the lane, he's going to be a real handful - at any level.
