The Spurs made two Finals and won a ring in those years (unlike the recent Heat who don't really have title expectations), and you're obviously trolling if you're saying he was only the Spurs fourth or fifth best player during that time - at worst he was the second best but conventional measures paint him as the best (Kawhi not being Kawhi for his first few years, Tony dropping off dreadfully in the past two).

Last season it was definitely the Goran's show. He was and played like the best player in Phoenix. The better playmaker, the better shooter and was a crazy one-man fast break. He was obviously the leader that most Suns fans wanted him to be. Bledsoe was nothing more than a diva, though he was the better defender even then.

But Bledsoe had proven critics wrong so far this season. He seemingly gained much last off season. His mid range off the dribble is now automatic, an improved three point shooter, is the best playmaker available on this Suns roster, and most importantly had shown the desire to win. All of which he did not display last season.

So yeah if u're comparing them head to head during the time when they both played in Phoenix, I would still say Dragic is the better player at that moment. End of last season and this season it's been otherwise, but that's all in hindsight.
