I keep hearing Lavine and Westbrook are bad defenders and how it doesn't make sense because they're so athletic.

These two Lebronesque athletes lack first step quickness which makes the first steps in their later movement slow. Its why you see Westbrook hop up and down on defense just before moving laterally.

Delledova isn't some supreme athlete but he has heart,skill,stamina and iq to play defense. Their so many people who atheltic but terrible at defense.
