i just realized they now offer a plan with no commercials. its $12 but still...before their pay plan still had ads.

they have way more stuff than Prime and Netflix, including getting shows and movies way faster. while Netflix and Prime will usually wait for seasons to finish and then take awhile to get them Hulu seems to put them up by episodes way earlier.

what am i missing here? i am thinking about canceling my netflix now that Hulu has pretty much everything they do and a lot more.

thoughts? :confusedshrug:

They have all the seasons of Seinfeld and South Park right? That's a pretty big reason to switch along with all of the early releases compared to Netflix and Prime.

i just checked Supernatural, one of my favorite shows, and they even have Season 11 up to episode 6. not sure where the live show is at but Netflix is only at Season 10. It'll probably be like 2 years before Netflix gets Season 11 :coleman:

Probably the only thing noteworthy is the Netflix original content (which includes some shows I really like) and maybe some stuff they get from the BBC.

Didn't know about the Criterion collection either. Damn, Netflix is robbing me.

if you guys arent opposed to dropping a 1 time fee of 250 or 300, digistream is pretty damn great to have for movies and shows

Torrents are better than any streaming site/service. Y'all don't know anything about that though. Just got Ant-man a couple of days ago in HD....haven't watched it yet though. Waiting for a female to come through so I can "watch" it

Just went to their website, and it seems a little too good to be true. What do you get?

Netflix is still best for movies, but Hulu is better for TV.

ive only used it when i visit my parents, but it has "channels" for movies and TV. usually, youll find new tv episodes the day after they air , and movies as new as opening weekend (though those arent always the best of quality)

but just watched american ultra and vacation the other week, and both were HD quality. but they did come out earlier this year.

youre also not limited to new movies and shows either. they have what seems like an endless amount of content. recently streamed some home improvement for old times sake :lol

Signed up for a 30 day trial from my ps4 without the commercials.

Gonna cancel on December 19. Its superior for shows honestly, but for movies it isn't. And these days shows are more for couples, Netflix with a chick you just met or tryna fck put a movie on. Hulu needs to work on the movies and Netflix needs to work on the shows.

They're both doing this shit purposely. All an agenda.

Is it legal? Interface looks like Kodi/XBMC. I would hate to buy it only for it to go down permanently. I would be screwed big time :lol

Sucks that I can't get it here. They have so many great foreign movies. :(

The best part about Hulu plus is the near instant update of latest episodes

Is it legal?

i think its safe to assume its not. but my parents have had it for about 2 years now, with no issues. if that at all helps alleviate hesitation

You should try Kodi. Free program, great interface, access to damn near everything via stream.

If it's not legal, then why bother when you can just download what you want for free through other illegal methods?

the convenience and ease of it for the non DL friendly user. like it said earlier, i use it when im at my parents. they love it to death, but thats because the word torrent doestn register with them.

What would I need to run Kodi on my tv?

Do I need to get a amazon fire stick and load it on there?
Yeah. Or the fire tv box like what I have and run it flawlessly on. You can do it on the fire stick too for cheaper I also heard it has a better wireless band than the box so it may be better. Either or. Your choice. You'll install the app on the fire stick or the tv box, it'll run like any ordinary app.
