Close game either way. My random predictions: Caldwell-Nope gonna drop 23 and Drummond with 16/21.

I will be surprised if Drummond can rebound the way he has been against the Cavs front line.

Love. Thompson. Varejao. Mozgov... with LeBron as small forward.

That's the most talented rebounding front line in the NBA.

Andre Drummond has notched 5 rebounds already; that's greatly counteractive against perhaps the best rebounding front-court in the NBA in the Cavaliers, which negates one of their biggest upsides over other teams.

LeBron also seems to have been slowly re-establishing his three-point-shooting efficience, as it carries into this game.

When are teams going to realize that they need to be more attentive to Tristan Thompson than usual whenever Dellavedova is sharing floor time with him? :facepalm

Delly has actually been attacking the rim a little more recently, because teams had been flocking to TT as soon as the P&R started. It's just difficult to stop because those two run it so well, especially when they're surrounded by shooting.

I feel like Delly is one of the most improved players in the league when you consider where he was a year ago. I know his development really started late last season and in the playoffs, but he has willed himself into a legitimately important role player off the bench on a championship contending team.

I don't think too many people saw that coming. I know I didn't.

LeBron is tuned in tonight. No early season malaise this year.

Meanwhile, the Pistons are employing the "let's throw the ball up randomly around the basket and let Drummond tip it in" offense with great success. How was this guy not the 2nd pick in that draft again?

An absolute monster of a human being. Mozgov is really big and usually swallows up physical centers. Not against this guy. To be fair, Mozgov is still way out of shape and has looked completely off his game so far due to coming back from injury, but still...

Drummond plays grown man basketball.

Drummond is making Mozgov look like some recreational player, in a few year's if he refines his game he'll be very very scary.

I was about to say that K love needs to be involved more, cue a post up and 3.

Can't say I'm surprised... Mozgov has been horrible so far this year on both ends of the floor. He's still catching up after missing training camp, etc. after recovering from surgery.

He is totally out of rhythm and out of shape.

That isn't to minimize Drummond though... he's scary athletic/big.

Great game by both teams so far. :applause:

Drummond's 17 rebounds = counteractively instrumental against one of the best rebounding front courts in the game, and his team's collective hustle has always managed to nurse the bleeding in a timely manner.

JR Smith comes in and the lead is evaporated.

Horribly stupid foul on Morris, and just blew a rotation in embarrassing fashion that leads to a 3. Bench the ****ing idiot. Why does he even get minutes down the stretch? He's worse at literally everything than WIlliams. This guy has made mistakes down the stretch in games since forever. He nearly sabotaged game 2 in the finals.

I usually support James' diverse approach to the game (i.e. always looking for the right play and whatnot), and I was more concentrated on my Pistons than I was on him tonight, but in theory it seems he should have ended up with a lot more than 30 after a 23 point first half, no? I'd love to think the Pistons locked him down, but I'm not sure they're capable of such.
