Arguably a top 10 GOAT season if he keeps this up
Arguably the GOAT offensive season if he keeps this up
The only thing that sets him back from the All time season GOATs (2000 Shaq, 2009 Lebron, First3peat Jordan) is defense... Both Shaq and Lebron were the best and most important defenders on their team, and HAD to play full minutes for any hope to win. The caviar of Curry's magnificence is his output in such limited minutes, but this is only capable by having such a strong and deeply talented supporting cast with a plethora of elite defenders which hide up Curry's lack of true defensive impact (Can't blame him though, he's a PG)

Jordan yes
LeBron no, Ben Wallace, Varejao, Big Z, West...his team was stacked with defenders
Shaq 00 lakers were stacked with good defenders as well

Nope
Lebron was actually the runner-up DPOY behind Dwight in 2009
He was the equivalent of Draymond Green to the Warriors on defense, while being the superstar on offense
The most important player on both sides of the court

Curry has been fantastic defensively this season. Obviously isn't going to be anywhere near Bron or Shaq on that end due to his size, but for his position, he is top notch now.

He led them to 59 wins too iirc, despite missing his second option for more than half the season and having Sefalosha/Perkins start 60+ games each.

Love me some Curry :applause:
It would be fun if Wars would break 72 wins record and repeat as well.

Not really. Let's see a few:
Jordan: 32.5 ppg, 8 assists, 53.8 FG%
Archibald: 34/11.4/48.8%
Oscar: 31.4/11/48.3%
Kareem: 34.8/4.6/57.4%
And there was Wilt.

Curry score so effortlessly...his handle so tight
he could average 40 if he was TRYING TO go for 40
AT the end of the game u don't even realize he scored 36+ pts because a) a lot of 3s b) he doesn't force the issue c) doesn't even seem to dominate the ball so much d) passes a lot/makes correct decision

Yeah its amazing. I don't even try to keep track of his points. He could have 15 for 2 quarters and then erupt or just quietly rack em up, like last night.
I had no idea he had 37pts by the end of the game. He had way too many turnovers though. He'll have to work on those. But he had 9 assists.
