this is from a reddit thread, i think. no idea if these are real or fake, but the replies really made me think:

[quote]1. Honestly, I feel anger towards my own people. I grew up in the middle east, at a young age I was exposed to the Bullshit ideologies that exist within middle eastern society.

People out there don

[quote]12. On a day like today, what goes through my mind is the change that really needs to take place in the East. People need to relax when it comes to religion; its ok to be devoted, but its not ok to force others to believe in what you do, how you do. Also, people need to come off their pedestal and realize that everyone is just another human being trying to get along in life, and you butting your beliefs in the way is just hindering their honest intentions. If these changes don

The great Muslim deception is at work here with this response:

[QUOTE][B]10. How does ANYONE feel knowing that so many people are being killed mercilessly? Horrible, disgusted, sad.

But as Muslims, it goes beyond that. We don

Finding a way to blame the victims and becoming the victim themselves.

Dude probably lives in America.

You see this sort of thing everywhere.

Clock kid brings a clock disguised as a bomb, gets in trouble for it, instantly blames everything on racism.

Typical.

I understand the fact that only a small fraction of Muslims are radicals. What is worrying is that this fraction is driving the agenda. The majority of Germans weren't Nazis, yet the Nazi ideology drove the agenda.

i'm sorry for your lack of brain cells.

i wasn't trying to make everyone agree on the same thing, just to point out that some muslims are at odds with their extremist peers.

of course if you're looking for a challenge about being an idiot, then I'M YOUR MAN, DUDERINO! :D

Why are we in constant hysteria about "anti-Muslim backlash" after every terrorist attack? Anti Muslim backlash isn't a thing.

Yeah, I feel like Sikhs are the ones who take the most shit in America after these attacks, as dumb people assume they're Muslims.

Because everyone wants to be a victim. If you're a victim, you get special treatment. You can start a Twitter movement, receive money via GoFundMe, get people fired from their profession, you name it. There's a lot of perks in becoming the victim.

Most Sikh's are cool, they have one of the coolest religions of all, a religion that actually teaches people to be decent human beings towards each other. Unfortunately, they often get confused for Muslims by dumbasses and have to take abuse they don't deserve.

I hope when these genuine tolerant Muslims feel defensive after these attacks aim there defensiveness where it belongs. "Islam is not terrorism, Islam is a religion of peace". That's all good and well, but often it's targeted at the wrong crowd. It's not about "Islamophobia", "Racism" and it's not something you need to explain to people who aren't Muslim and who aren't terrorists.

If you feel strongly about this as a Muslim and you feel defensive, explain and defend that to the hundreds of millions of Muslims in the world who do think violence in the name of Islam is justified.

Mohammad the prophet of Islam preached this and wrote about it multiple times in the holy book of Islam, so it's understandable that most Muslims believe this.
