Two of the best two-way wings in the game, both having big time seasons. Kawhi was more expected, but PG has quietly put together a monster comeback season.

Who you got right now?

Who would you rather have for the next decade?

PG13 for me, but it can go either way really depending on surrounding players etc.

If I'm taking a guy as the first option on offense easily PG.

Based on the cross-comparison of each others' career trajectories? Paul George.

It was the most devastating injury for me to see that could have happened to any non-superstar, as his career trajectory has outpaced most players in the league so far. Had he not missed last season, I believe this question would be laid to rest, as we're already seeing him improve not only his shooting efficience this season but also his all-around game; he's become far more multi-functional on the offensive end, as he's steepened his playmaking activity, too.

Now, conjecture aside, out of the current two for the present and proven? Kawhi Leonard.

He's been far more scoring-efficient, which is Paul George's biggest flaw at this time. I feel that Paul George will eventually eclipse him on scoring effectivity in the long haul, as he has more a more latitudinal role on his team's offense than the Spurs' ball-movement-stringent offense, and the sky is the limit for George's improvement; but until the future actualizes itself, it's only sensible for me to judge more weightily on the present and proven.

Moreover, I would give the defensive edge to him—not just because of his Defensive Player of the Year awardeeship, as I felt there were more deserving candidates than him (Draymond Green, per se), but because we've seen him do a more effective job on superstars.

He's never struggled substantially against Paul George's Pacers, but Kawhi Leonard engrossed more recognition as a defender when he was LeBron's defensive assignee. He struggled for most of the 2013 Finals until he finally rekindled his jumpshot in Game 7—where Leonard instructedly played the sag-off defense on LeBron, I might add—and even in LeBron's most jumpshot-efficient Finals in 2014, Leonard still imposed his fingerprints as LeBron became far too tentative to shoot while Leonard covered him, as he failed to stop the bleeding of the game-sealing runs the Spurs made.

George played on faster pace team and with more minutes .

Kawhi 100 poss stats ;

32 pts , 11.5 rib , 2.5 ast , 3 stl , 2 blk , 2 to , %59.8 TS

George 100 poss stats ;

35 pts , 12 rib , 6.5 ast , 2.2 stl , 0.2 blk , 5 to , %57.6 TS

32 pts with %59.8 TS > 35 pts with %57.6 TS for me on scoring .

George better on offence with assists margin . But Kawhi way better player at defensive side and plus his 3 less to .

Kawhi for me .

Are you ****ing stupid?

PG for sure. Dude is a legit superstar and has been killing it. Lets hope he doesn't finish like he did in '14 though.

5 turnovers to 2 turnovers at 100 possesions . Think about it .

And %2 ts > 3 points in my book. Cause i know about assists value on points production , and possesion value .

2% TS is like less than half a possession. You'd take that over 3 points?

You said some dumb shit similar to this in the Iverson vs Drexler discussion.

That's not how it works dude, go take a math class.

Cut him a break I honestly don't think he understands.

This is the same guy that said scoring 7-8 more points on 4% lower TS% is worse.

Yep with the assists ratios on points . 3 points to be around 1.8 to 2.2 with assist on points reduction . And plus the misses possesions 3 points value to be around 0.6 to 1.0 , as a result .

I wasn't said Drex has scoring , i said shooting . I also said Iverson better on scoring(total) . Why don't understand that?

253(pacers tm ast) / 435 ( pacers tm fgm) = %58.16

433( pg min) / 576 (pacers min) = %75.17

%75.17 x 435 = 326.99

326.99 - 100( pg fgm) = 226.99

56(pg ast) / 226.99(fgm from pg teammates at pg on the court) = 0.2467

0.5816 / 5 = 0.1163

0.1163 - 0.2467 = 0.1304

0.5816 - 0.1304 = 0.4512 (pg ast'd fgm ratio)

3 x 0.5488 = 1.64

3 x 0.4512 x 0.433(pacers fg%) = 0.5861

0.5861 + 1.64 = 2.2261

2.2261 is PG's self production or minus the teammates assists Points .

And like i said , minus the misses possesions from 3 points . 3 points to be 0.98 points margin on the court .

:wtf: :wtf:

Stop.

I still don't get how you're extrapolating their stats to 100 possessions and expecting the efficiencies to stay the same.

PG is definitely the better scorer, playmaker, and right now the best rebounder as well. Kawhi is a better defender, but PG is an ELITE defender as well. PG is just a better player than Kawhi. Put Kawhi on a team like the Pacers and he definitely would not be able to lead them.

PG is better on offence , no doubt . But with the defensive margin , i choose Kawhi .

There is no defensive margin. PG is just as good on defense, if not better.

There has been PG media hype? The first I heard of it. All I keep hearing is how good of a 2 way player Kawhi is.

You obviously don't even watch the Spurs, let alone the Pacers TBH.

Give me Paul George.

Put George with the Spurs, and he's also going to win Finals MVP.
