The Washington Post reports this
The suspected ringleader of the Paris attacks was killed Wednesday in a massive pre-dawn raid by French police commandos, two senior European officials said, after investigators followed leads that the fugitive Islamic State militant was holed up north of the French capital and could be plotting another wave of violence.
More than 100 police officers and soldiers stormed an apartment building in Saint-Denis, a bustling suburb home to many immigrants, during a seven-hour siege that left at least two people dead, officials said. The dead *included the suspected overseer of the Paris bloodshed, Abdel*hamid Abaaoud, according to the two senior European officials. Abaaoud, a Belgian extremist, had once boasted that he could slip easily between Europe and strongholds of the Islamic State militant group in Syria.
However, other news agencies have yet to confirm this.

Rachel Maddow had a good show on this. (on.msnbc.com/1NEBjyF). Had a section on why we can't bring liquids on planes and it goes back to a bomb factory in England that was trying to develop a soda can bomb.
ISIS is claiming that this is the type of bomb (http://www.nytimes.com/live/paris-attacks-live-updates/a/) that took down the Russian plane.

And this recent attack has involved like 8 suicide vests and they weren't duds which means there might be a talented bomb maker in France or Belgium.

The next second had details of the raid. The French police arrived in force and try to blow the door of the apartment, but it's an armored door. And it takes a second charge to open the door which gave the terrorists a chance to get their arms.
So "the woman" who exploded the suicide vest may not be a woman. The body is so mangled they aren't sure. Also the body next to the woman is not identifiable yet.
The bomb was so powerful the floor where she stood opened up. They are wondering if there are bodies in the rubble. The building is now unstable so they are going slow investigating.

'Bombmaker' turns himself in, reports say
The 19-year-old suspected of being the bomber who built the suicide belts used in the Paris attacks has reportedly turned himself in to police, writes Rory Mulholland in Paris.
Mohamed K from Roubaix, northern France, is accused of assembling the vests and detonators worn by the men in Friday's atrocity.
He turned himself in to police in the northern city of Lille on Wednesday evening, France3 regional TV station reported.
Police in France and Belgian had been hunting for him and had issued a notice to officers that read: "Urgent detect: attacks Paris! Very dangerous. Specialising in explosives and detonators."
A Belgian Newspaper had named him and published his photo.

Telegraph is quoting a french TV station, but nobody is reporting this otherwise.
A 19-YEAR-OLD man has reportedly admitted to building the suicide belts used in the Black Friday Paris terror attacks.
The man, Mohamed K, turned himself into police in the northern city of Lille, according to The Telegraph.
After searching the man’s home near Roubaix, police reportedly found two sticks of plastic C4 explosives.
However, a police spokesperson said there is no established link with the attacks, but authorities are looking into links between the alleged bombmaker and fugitive terrorist Salah Abdelslam.

Chief Suspect in Paris Attacks Died in Raid, France Says (http://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/20/world/europe/paris-attacks.html)
They did forensic testing and have confirmed he was one the dead from the apartment shootout the other day.
The report of the bombmaker turning himself in still is not reported by other papers. It seems very odd for an ISIS bombmaker to turn himself in. Why would he legitimately do that? The only reason I can think of is all his options had been taken away. Short of that, it seems out of character. Is he protecting someone else?

Could be a Patsy? Hopefully if it is, the police doesn't fall for it, if it is him it might be due to his young age. A prodigy fell for ISIS bullshit and now hates himself for being taken advantage of?

Which makes me wonder how anyone ever gets caught with explosives on them.
You can hide them in pretty much anything.

Luckily, MI5 had been tipped off to this bombmaker in England in 2006 and they installed cameras in his house and watched try to perfect these small bombs.
At first they didn't know why they were making them so small, then they saw his perusing flight schedules at an internet cafe for hours at a time and swooped in on him.
This was in 2006 and led to the fact that you can't take a water bottle on a plane any more.

The Daily Beast has had several stories with a defector from ISIS this week. He was definitely jaded and disillusioned with them. But he's a fighter in Syria

Nah, longhorn watches her too.
You ever going to let me know about that colonial era firearm that you claimed would launch several shots with a single trigger pull? I would love to hear where you heard that nonsense.

There's plenty of them.
Don't know what the original context of the question was, but there are a lot of antique firearms that would fire multiple projectiles with one pull of the trigger.
