And one of the other 3 is 1 game below .500.
Don't see that very often, lol.

It's early. Same kind of thing happened last year with the East getting off to a hot start iirc. Things eventually evened out though. East has definitely improved, but not enough to be close to competing with the West.

Ever since the Miami Big 3 broke up, the East looks weaker.

The Pacers have pretty much deteriorated. The early 2010s Knicks aren't as good as they used to be (although the team they have now is the deepest they've had since before the Melo trade). The Sixers were relevant that one year in the postseason, 2012. The Celtics were still a really good playoff team in 2011/2012.

However I will say, the East looks more balanced than years before. Seems like nearly every team is on similar playing ground besides a few likely playoff teams. But based on how strong the West has been the past few years, I don't see in anyway how an East team can win a 7 game series.

East looks better, I think West will win the RS matches again but East is improving.
Pelicans and Rockets started really bad in the West.

The East was in their worst states in 2013 and 2014.. its looking alot better now.

The Knicks were good for one season, and even then they lost in the second round.

No, that never happened.

right? I dont remember a hot start at all :oldlol:
