There's only one elite defensive player on the West's top 5. 4 on the East.

Put KD in like he should be.

Curry/Russ/KD/Blake/Cousins...literally 5 of the most versatile offensive players in game on the West.

The East ain't stopping that.

That team would be shit on the defensive end, but ****, that's a lot of firepower.

It actually wouldn't be.

Blake has become a very good defender at the PF position. Cousins is a very strong presence inside.

KD can be dominant on D with his length. The only weak link defensively might be Steph, but his D is much improved as well.

The "bad" defense of most of those Western players are all old narratives honestly.

Westbrook is a pretty bad defender. The East teams defense would be great all of them all NBA caliber defenders. The shooting of the west shits on the east though.

:oldlol: @ Blake being a very good defender.

KD can be dominant - He never was.
Cousins is a very strong presence - Shitty defender. He's a strong presence on the offensive end, but lately, he's settling for jumpers.
Curry's improved defense - Still not a good defender.

Old narrative? None of those players are good defenders (except Kawhi) and WB is inconsistent on the defensive end.

Not sure what's funny. Blake was statistically the best post-defender in the league last year and held opposing PFs to a PER of 15.

And he's much better this year. He can even step out and stop perimeter players as well...two games particularly this year he stopped James Harden and Reggie Jackson on multiple possessions late in the game. He's also holding his opposing match-up to 39 percent from the field so far this year.

Watch some games, look at the numbers, and stop relying on old narratives.
