Russell with 8?
LeBron has played in 5 in a row and will likely play in his 6th this year, and right now there is no end in sight as I dont see any east team seriously threatening the Cavs anytime soon.
Edit: Russell played in 9 in a row (losing in '57).

He played in 10 in a row, losing in '58 while being injured in part of the series, but having won in '57.

Russell's streak does not count/compare because there were only 9 teams in the whole league.
Lebron owns the record.
Daddy Third Legs unprecedented domination.

Branita's strike does count because there was only one conference in the whole league at that time.

They don't count because 1st round is always a cakewalk and in the past 5 yrs Heat/Cavs haven't had much competition in their conference due to injuries.

2012 semi vs Indiana 6 games
2012 ECF vs Boston 7 games
2013 ECF vs Indiana 7 games
2014 ECF vs Indiana 6 games
Looks like competition to me
Top seeds cruise thru first rounds anyways

2012 lockout year with b2b2b games....and he was going up against Doc Rivers who had Brandon Bass out of all people guard Lebron on the perimeter in a game 7 , Pacers were wayyy too young and had no chance...even in 2013 and 2014.
Like I said, always a cakewalk in the first round, easy 2nd round. The Boston series was the only one they could have lost and that's only because Bosh was injured. One tough series in 5 years, I should be impressed.
Look at the Lakers 3-peat run from 2000-02.. Lebron's ECF runs are somewhat comparable to Kobe's Finals runs from 08-10 but that's it. Even Jordan had tougher competition.

It's sad that Lebron only managed to win twice :(

Dude put up historic performances in the last 4 finals he's been in
Unfortunately health of teammates and certain p*ssies in Miami cost the dude the all-time best resume
But he'll always have the "best individual" "best all around" titles to his name
This is why it's a team game. The best teams win and not the best individuals, that is literally the point

No, he tried contributing to it by being unselfish and impacting the game in other ways like defense and playmaking
Wade wasn't up to the challenge and resigned "his" team to LeBron that very same year, the results after speak for themselves
GOAT individual athlete
