no ifs ands or buts about it. He's already the most unstoppable player in NBA history.

Agreed. He can get swept in the first round too and never play another game, but if the Warriors win 73 games, Curry > Jordan

How come Curry's ankles don't regularly break down anymore? What has he done to keep healthy?

Then again, you're probably trolling and I'm just wasting a post on you. :confusedshrug:

GSW play extremely hard and somehow miraculously gets 73 wins.

Because Curry had ankle problems during only one season. He never missed significant time in any season other than in '12.

He changed the way he plays. Uses hip/body muscles for shooting instead of ankles which doesn't strain them as much as it used to. Also different shows that are supposed to help for it. :pimp:

It's because when you rehab any severe injury, the training methods are focused on preventing re-injury by over strengthening that area. It's common sports medicine knowledge. Normally, you don't spend as much time on the weight machines on pre injured area as you would post injury. Motivation from not having to go down with same injury is the key.

Warriors play in a tougher era in a much better conference, Curry also has a weaker supporting cast

I'd say it's pretty obvious that this year's Curry is the best player ever, but his prime will probably be too short to have the greatest all time career

You realize that his PPG will put him at about 70th all time??? He is unstoppable largely because of his supporting cast. It helps having the second best shooter in the league on his team. Sort of how having Maris and Mantle on the same team allows both of them to hit more home runs than either would have individually.

There have been a ton of unstoppable players in the NBA. Curry is doing it differently, but he is in no way more unstoppable than, say, Kareem was in his prime.

No it's not. Forget Jordan, Hakeem won a title, MVP, DPOY, and FMVP, and he did it without a single all-star teammate. Jordan has also had multiple superior seasons, especially factoring in defense. No player will ever have the title of "best player ever" unless they are a great defender.

Why do you guys always pick a single criterion to base your arguments on and then present it as undeniable fact? Sometimes I think it's just trolling, but then I keep reading and remember the type of ppl I often encounter on ISH.

GOAT this and GOAT that based on one thing, total team wins.... really.

Can anyone actually back up most of the stupid things said about Steph, with actual stats or something?

GIFs and saying "There's no doubt about it" doesn't mean anything LOL

I actually welcome an intelligent argument as to why Steph is better than Jordan.

How does winning 1 extra reg season game make it a thing? LOL

You won't find one, just like you won't find a valid argument for Kobe or Lebron being better than Jordan.

It's the same ignorance as it was with both Kobe and Bron. Some kid sees the best player in his era achieve something and automatically assumes that that player is the best of all time. :lol

Ignorance is bliss. These Curry vs Bron stan arguments are analogous to trash pickers arguing over who gets the broken flat screen that an MJ fan tossed in the dumpster.

Some of you owe Oscar Robertson and Isiah Thomas an apology. Thunder are playing great defense but we're not seeing Steph dominate with 30 foot shots. No dancing, prancing, shimmying or staring at the other bench. Just casually jogging back to the other side of the floor because the defense is making him work to get the ball and work to get a decent shot off. Maybe the old geezers know what the hell they're talking about.

I like Steph but things are a little different when teams decide to play physical defense for four quarters. Still great, but no supernova.

Steph did sprain his MCL and injured his elbow. Lets not act like he's playing 100% healthy.

This is why people should stop comparing regular seasons to measure greatness. You can win a lot of games when you face off lottery teams for half the season but you need to look at pivotal moments in Playoff history.

Does Curry have a big Playoff moment to his name? By a big moment I mean him taking over against a contending team.

Jordan has plenty of those, Kobe has many. Heck, even Lebron had his moment against the Spurs in 2013.

people overreacting to this post season by turning a complete 180 are basically saying guys like Dirk in 07, Drob from 94-96, Malone a whole bunch of years or Lebron in 10 were overrated those years either because of the playoffs. It's basically over one terrible game too since he wasn't even that bad the 1st 3 games.

They were still good players and had great regular seasons but you don't get praise for winning the MVP on a 60+ win team and disappearing in the Playoffs.

couldn't it be you're the reason your team even won 60+ games in the 1st place. True for some of the other guys here more so than Curry since his team could win 50+ without him but still. Also, kind of ridiculous for it to be over one terrible game but then again shouldn't be surprised since other players have dealt with the same thing.
