View Full Version : Another solid performance from Kobe...

18, 4, and 4...0 turnovers.

20th season for a guard...uncharted territory.

The second he checked in I knew the Blazers would win. The Lakers are actually way better than they are showing. Jordan Clarkson should be getting the ball. Instead they got their young guys getting no experience in crunch time. They got Kobe chucking, bricking, and then giving up lay ups. Sad really.

This was the first "bad approach" game for Kobe since the Knicks matchup with Melo.

Not sure if he feared being out of rhythm for the Warriors game.

Not that it would change much in terms of success.

He came into this game being held under 20 points in 8 straight games, (now 9) his longest stretch since he was a teenager. Pretty obvious he was just trying to get to 20 points no matter the cost to his team. Cancer gonna caner

Kobe just can't help himself. At his heart, he is nothing but a selfish ballhog. Even at his age, he isn't willing to relent his place. He takes the worst shots possible time and time again. Iso, contested, long 2s with everyone just watching. Offensive flow killer. Sad thing is, he knows he can play the right way but he simply chooses not to do so. I can't wait till he retires and the dark cloud over the team will finally disappear.

Decent raw numbers, but not that impressive when you consider Kobe is taking more shots per minute than he did in his prime. Not only that, but dude can't make a three to save his life, so his 38% shooting is actually worse than it looks.

As a collective season he's looked awful. No way around it.

You have a better chance of being effective (or more effective) when you have the right approach.

15/6/6 on 40'ish % shooting would be just fine for this team.
