We're at the point of history where we have the tools, resources and intelligence in place to practically fix many of the problems that face this world but we don't do so because of greed.

We can easily feed the entire world right now but we don't do so from an economical sense I guess. We probably had the technology to shift away from oil years ago but the oil industry $$ is just too good for politicians. At the end of the day $$ runs the world and we still think things in terms of profit and loss.

I agree with all this, I often think 'boy, if we could take the old school values that kept people focused on the right track, and ADD all the technological advancement and know-how, how much better we could make things...'

But the problem is, the more convenience we get, the more we take for granted. The more we slack off. The more our attitudes and values and intellect erode.

Not to mention, we allow shitty topics to divide us. Immigration, gay marriage, Islam, abortion. We can't just settle on a policy on this shit and move on to the important stuff. We should allow states that want to marry gays to do so, but not force them. We just leave abortion to be handled by the community. We should prevent illegal immigration. Nobody comes here without documentation. We should dismantle the forces of Islamic terror in one big, swift, serious campaign rather than a perpetual battle designed to feed the military industrial.

Everything won't be easy, everything won't be fair, and everything won't be perfect but if we take care of fukking business right now and PURGE what issues and elements need to be purged, we can try and focus on the real shit that matters and keeping people informed about the critical stuff. But obviously we've got to many social justice warriors, wannabe-heroes that want to stand in the way of actually doing any necessary 'evil' because it's been ingrained into them that they'll be rewarded and approved of for shouting out liberal moralism, and lying down in front of tanks or bulldozers etc, and these people are literally fundamentalist liberal martyr peabrains that don't even understand the concepts that motivate them.

Shit's fukked up.

In the middle so many people worry about things they have no control over.

That's what separates humans (the ones who think for themselves, anyway) from animals.

:oldlol: You need to stop trying to cultivate this apathetic image...you lash out at posters here like 15 times a day completely unprovoked, you are a small, bitter man who cares deeply about how small and bitter he is.

pessimistic.

The world is PCing itself to its own demise. These people who think they are being liberal and just are only allowing threats to thrive and cancer the world from the inside out.

Put a fork in the world. It's done. WW3 is getting closer.

Somehow I think the Russian jet flying over Turkey was no accident. We all know what happens when Russian planes are messed with.

in life you need a mix of roughly 50% critical thinking to properly evaluate things, and 50% hope / bullshit in order to get through your days.
