It's one game only 15 contests into their careers. Towns will likely outplay Okafor in the future. You could tell Okafor reallyyyyy wanted this game tonight though. Shame the dismal PG situation and bad coaching cost them the game.

Of the 3 top rookies(Towns, Porz, Oak), who is demanding double teams right now? There's no question it is Oak who demands the double teams.

I respect the other two, but at this point in time, Oak is more of a go to player than either of the other two top rookies.

By that time of the game, Okafor was worn out due to poor conditioning (for NBA standards) and wouldn't move into position, which is another big problem. He left Okafor in but didn't ensure he got the ball on offense, which made little sense.

It's great you're a T-Wolves fan and it's fine to stan Wiggins and Towns. They're both better than Jah. But hating on a dude like Okafor makes no logical sense, especially after the game he just had. Should we bring up games where Wiggins couldn't close from last year en route to a league-worst record? B/c that's the type of season Okafor is gonna have.

I'm just glad we finally got to see the big guys match up considering I was hoping to see Duke/Kentucky in the tourney last year.

The refs have been raping towns all season long with foul calls. Towns breaths and the refs call a foul, it's ridiculous. It's like they can't handle a rookie owning the league on the defensive side of the ball.

I wouldn't concede Towns>Oak.

Towns is a better all around player than Oak right now, but all through history, the best all around players aren't always the best players. A dominant scorer with an improving game on the boards and on defense can be better than a player who is a jack of all trades. It depends what your team needs.

It can legitimately be argued that Oak going forward has the best chance to be the most dominant scorer, and make teammates better by demanding double teams. Mind you, Oak is doing this with no spacing, and getting the ball 20 feet from the hoop sometimes. What will he do with a competent PG?

had 4 fgs against towns but also put him in foul trouble which is more important because towns is useless on the bench. and the little time he was on the floor, he was also useless since he couldnt do anything against oak. id say that was an all around oak ownage on towns.

okafor DESTROYED towns. Okafor blocked Towns twice in limited minutes also abused him in the post whenever he was in game.

Okafor has the BEST FOOTWORK of any big man in the game right now he cannot be guarded 1 on 1
