Something like this makes a lot of sense for the Sixers at least. Okafor and Noel aren't going to be the pair going forward...and I think Hinkie is rightfully skeptical that you can build a championship team around a player like Okafor playing 35 plus minutes. Perhaps, but I doubt it...

So I don't know how it would work with the Lakers, but some deal like Okafor for a good young player and a top 3 draft pick makes sense.

I'm just not sure the Lakers works...because you'd want Russell and Clarkson for something like Okafor and one of their late first rounders or something...and even then...Clarkson is expiring and dude is about to get paid. So I doubt the Sixers would risk that...

But...make no mistake...Hinkie took Okafor knowing he'd likely trade him.
