Lord Of Darkness.....

A lot of people would hate me for this, but American Badass was underrated....

I like American Badass my second after Hybrid Deadman.

I was a kid when he debuted as the "western mortician" so I guess I have a soft spot for that incarnation of Taker. The whole no sell couldn't be hurt angle was awesome as a kid. I remember when my favorite wrestlers would face him there was a legit sense of dread

The Deadman was my favorite gimmick. The American Badass gimmick was his least popular, but that really was Taker at his best in-ring. He cared me at that time, and his best matches were during that era, regardless of gimmick.

Then wrestlemania 25 and 26 vs shawn micheals were also great matches

Then again I dont really watch too much wrestling nowadays, so it might just be nostalgia :lol
1998 hiac wasn't even that good, it just had cool spots. all taker had to do was throw mick off a cell, and then through a cell.

deadman post-2004 had A LOT of better matches. wm 25 vs. hbk is one of, if not, the greatest ever.

What a great time to be a wrestling fan. You couldn't keep up with the storylines cause each of them were so interesting. Faces were becoming heels. Heels were becoming faces. You had stables going after one another.
