Porzingis for Haslem, Stoudemire, and Deng. Knicks get some much needed leadership and vet presence. Heat get a project that can help out further down the line.

I think the trade helps both sides actually. Heat are now suddenly in win-now mode, and the Knicks have a young nucleus to build around Porzingis.

I am not sure why everyone is giving you a hard time for this thread. I will just say that I would be interested to see how Carmelo and Wade play together. I wonder how that would look in comparison to Wade with Lebron?

Winslow, Porzingis, and Whiteside sounds like an exciting trio that would do some damage in a few years. I don't think this trade happens, but I would be very interested in seeing the results if it did.

Why the f@ck would we want to do that? The teams identity is built on defense, so we are going to trade the guy who makes the biggest impact in that regard for a player who plays no defense? We need more offense right now but were not talking about a guy like Lebron who can score, play make and makes guys around him better, but a scorer and nothing else. I have never held melo in much regard...he has too many holes in his game to be regarded as good as he was. Not only does this trade make us worse, but we are giving up two young guys for a 32 year old. You knick fans really exist in some parallel universe, don't you?
