View Full Version : Kobe aside - which player has gone backwards the most this season?

My money is on Khris Middleton so far. Cant hit a shot, cant make a pass. Not looking like the same player who earned the big extension last year that is for sure

I would also put John Wall in this conversation. Is looking more like a poor mans Ricky Rubio then a all star this season

Any other nominations?

Good choices.

Beal looks like the best player on the Wiz now.

Paul Pierce. Can't hit the open shot, has a hard time putting the ball on the floor. Too slow to guard anyone. I hope he somehow catches fire late in the season. That's what the Clippers brought him in for... Hopefully the Clipps make the playoffs.

john wall has fallen off a cliff.
I've noticed that, I remember him before he season talking about how he wanted to be an all-NBA player and average 20 & 10, but nothing so far. Someone else mentioned Klay Thompson, but I don't think neither he nor the Warriors really care too much at this point. Dwyane Wade is currently in the process of falling off a cliff (he's made 3 of his last 16 shots, better than 1/14 tho), but let's see if he can climb back up

WTF is this?

Midz is shooting a career best .464 from 3.

He starts slow. You should have seen him last year. He was out of the rotation at this point.

If you want to look at a Buck go after MCW. Good god.

I'd probably go Lawson. His TS% is more than 110 points off his career worst.

john wall has fallen off a cliff.

Yeah, I was never a Wall fan because his two Playoff runs were underwhelming...but the dude is playing terrible so far. He was being called a top 5 PG last year and now he's not even the best backcourt player on his team.

The best answers here are Kevin Martin and CP3.

Middleton has seemed ok this year from what little I've seen. His numbers are the same other than 2-PT FG%. Has he really been worse?

I blame Randy Wittman for John Wall and the Wizards' shittiness. He's just not a good coach, and his attempt to increase the pace has broken their offense and demoralized their defense.

Joe Johnson has been bad but he's on the Nets, and he's getting older. Klay hasn't been as stellar, but he'll be fine.

Also...Pierce is playing for the Clippers...no bench players that join the Clippers succeed. That bench is where careers go to die.

Wall was so confident in his improvements that before the start of the season he made a bet with their assistant coach and said he would donate $100 to a charitable organization for every game where he turned the ball over 3 times or more. It's been pretty much every game this season, but at least it is going to a good cause.
