So apparently you can swipe someone with huge contact without a foul...

Tristan being molested under the basket by four guys. The officials have swallowed their whistles. Wow.

Why is Love getting benched in the 4th? Anyone who watched the whole gm?

I don't think he necessarily got "benched." He actually played really well while he was on the court. It was just a situation where we had a lineup on the floor that completely shut Charlotte down defensively in the last five minutes and Blatt didn't want to mess with that.

Same kind of thing would occasionally happen last year. Certain lineups play well, you let it ride. It was the right call.

Sometimes you have to win ugly. The guy is still going to finish with 18/16.

Probably just because Cavs made the comeback without Love, so Blatt stuck with the guys who made the comeback.

But there was a point in the 2nd half where Love took a fall and came up hobbling. Maybe it's bothering him

Game ended and thread couldn't make it to page 2 :lol . Lebrons popularity reaches all time lows. Dude can't make a free throw in his prime and bricked everything down the stretch , can't blame the fans.

Mozgov also not playing the 4th, so I guess Blatt wanted to play small ball to end the game.

Unfortunately, small ball for the Cavs is pretty much iso LeBron, Tristan PnR... that's about it. Didn't look anything like the good ball movement I've been seeing from the Cavs this season.

Those small ball lineups will look a lot better once Kyrie and Shump come back. Teams know right now when we go with that super small lineup that LeBron is going to ISO and run P&Rs with TT and that is basically the offense.

Kyrie was ranked second in the NBA in efficiency in isolation situations. He brings something else that the opponent has to focus on and it should open up lanes for LeBron.

The Cavs are essentially buying time. I will take 12-4 under those circumstances. The Hornets have a damn good defensive team, fwiw.
