"The Sixers have dropped 27 in a row dating to last season for the longest losing streak in major U.S. professional sports history, passing the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1976 to '77. The previous record was also matched by the 76ers in 2013-14."

If I recall correctly, the Phillies were the 1st time in all pro sports to lose 10,000 games, with the Atlanta Braves being not that far behind.

This was after the 90s era braves with maddux/glavine/smoltz.

You and Jameer will have to slide off my junk. I need to fit Jameers entire bloodline on this dick of mine. I know how Jimmy boy likes his ****. Tranny boy is this close to just admitting he wants tentacles in every hole. At least now, he could join his mom when shes watching hentai tentacle porn in her room.

that's not what a winning culture is. Aside from Kobe no one in that org knows what a winning culture even means right now. Stop being so mad. Byron's gonna be gone soon and then things can change. This thread has nothing to do with the Lakers anyway

LA has the expectations of being contenders every year. Its the mindset and pressure that's significantly different from scrub franchises like Philly and Orlando. Youre point that no one has won right now is totally irrelevant. Russell and Randle are expected to perform by everyone with the mindset that they better win championships. In return they're in the gym like the gym rats they should be (Clarkson included). You think Clarkson and Randle would be trying as hard as they are if they are in Philly? Yeah right.

Neither guy is a franchise player. LA's history of championship teams had a franchise guy or two to hold down all those championship teams.

Until that happens, Lakers aren't going to be what they once were, no matter how hard guys are pushing each other. They need the next superstar.

Three straight seasons of hardcore tanking, and all they have to show for it is Okafor, who has looked decent, but could just be a looter (good stats, bad team guy), kind of like MCW. Noel has been meh. Embiid will go his first two seasons without playing a single second of NBA basketball.

Totally worth it though.

That's the craziest thing about it. They've done hardly anything in that period of time with no real established direction other than "well let's try the lottery again".

How much longer do fans tolerate that kind of culture?

Yeah but 27 in a row in the NFL is WAY worse than 27 in the NBA. Those bucs were way worse than the current sixers

I thought he'd be better than Jabari and Wiggins by now.

I'd go as far as to say the Lakers had LESS expectations to even make the playoffs than Orlando.

Finally getting a taste of being ass like half the league after years of being spoiled has really deluded Lakers fans.

Are you seriously that daft? The fans always have championships aspirations. Whether rational or not. It's a culture that has been built from winning 16 championships. The fans demand it, the FO is expected to deliver and the players are aware of this.

Jesus some of you guys are retards with the way I have to explain things. No, one or two... or 3 seasons of ass isnt enough to justify that the Lakers have a losing culture. It's the decades of dominance that justifies what type of culture the Lakers have.

Knicks fans always think they're gonna win. They wanted Winslow in the draft because they wanted an NBA ready guy :lol. And they haven't won shit in forever. Celtics have a billion banners but until KG and Ray signed with them in 2007 they had a losing culture. KG was said to bring a winning culture. A guy who had won nothing from Minnesota, who also hadn't won anything, brought a winning culture to Boston.

You use the Knicks as an example, why? The Lakers were in 3 straight finals not to long ago. Before that they won 3 more championships. How are they comparable to a team that has been irrelevant for decades.

Lakers fans melting down HARD ITT.

You can bring up dusty ass banners if you want, but since we live in the PRESENT let's talk about the current teams.

I'll take a core of Okafor and Noel over Clarkson and Russell every day.
The Sixers are trying to lose while the Lakers are actually tryin to win, yet the only thing that separates them in 2 wins.

The only edge the Lakers have is that Chuckbe is guaranteed to lose almost every game, the Sixers might learn how to win at some point.

See you in the lottery, cvnts:roll:
