This plus 8 assists to 9 turnovers and shit defense that caused PHilly to almost win

OP is a boxscore watcher. have you even heard of the guy who defended him?

If you're gonna dominate the ball vs the worst team in the NBA you're gonna put up big numbers. And the style of play barely won them the game considering Dwight made Okafor a non factor. Sixers guards had career nights.

It's embarrassing he put up those kinds of numbers and they still barely beat the worst team in the league.

Harden scoring 50 on 20 FT's against the SIXERS to beat them at the Buzzer, I expect more of him (not in this game, although its evident alone his leadership could have prevented this from being such an embarrassing game).

Almost choked away the game at the line as well.

He did it against the worst team ever. No. Not the "worst team ever," but LITERALLY the WORST team EVER. In the history of modern professional basketball.

No, there's no thread.

Outside of Harden, sometimes Howard and a couple solid role players like Beverley, Capela, Harrell and D-Mo (he's injured atm), the Rockets are beyond terrible! Brewer usually always misses his out-of-control layups. Marcus Thornton started off good but fell back down to Earth very quickly. Ariza is wack now and pretty much useless. Ty Lawson is horrendous. His defense sucks ass and he's not even giving a shit on offense. Jason Terry could be a great grandfather. T-Jones always gets owned by his opponent and his shot gets blocked way too much. Dekker is injured and KJ is in the D-League. This team is trash.

Why did this team do so well last year? You meaning to tell me losing Josh Smith and adding Ty Lawson made them worse?

There was also no thread about how the Rockets almost lost to the 76ers. I think the 2 cancelled each other out. Rockets fans didn't want to acknowledge how shitty their team played, and anti-Rockets fans didn't want to acknowledge that Harden had a good game. In the end, the Rockets needed Harden to be at his absolute best to beat the worst team in the league, which is more of a negative for the Rockets than a positive.

Well at least he didn't let his team lose to the Sixers. That would have been devastating.

Yeah, that Okafor defense is so crazy that no big men could score and Harden had to take over. :lol

They would've absolutely imploded had they lost, lol. Still too damn close for how good that team should be.

To be fair to James, you don't usually score 50+ points unless it's a somewhat close game (I know there are exceptions)...and he did do it efficiently, so even though it was the Sixers, gotta give him some credit.

Excuses. Rockets won against the clippers series because of the role players. In the end, nobody wants to play with a ballhog like harden just like jordan was a cancer before phil.

Sixers.

And FTA.

Color me unimpressed. Meanwhile Curry is putting up like 30 ppg and sitting entire 4th quarters in blow out wins.
