I've gotten used to seeing the usual disagreeable things like Russell over Wilt or Magic over Kareem but the 10-20 really has some strange things going on.

EDIT - on second thought there are some things the list did right that many other lists get wrong. For example Baylor usually get mad disrespected.

One of the worst lists I've ever seen. Moses malone at 24? Jerry West at 6, higher than leBron, Kobe, Shaq, Duncan, Larry Bird. Dwyane Wade at 40??? Karl Malone higher than Duncan? Olajuwon at 18? How do you have Parish at 37 and Worthy not even on the list?

I think that list was intentionally controversial and contrarian. Had to be. I know this stuff is highly subjective but there's no way to justify a lot of those rankings.

What surprised me most was Bird's low ranking (9th) despite this article being written by a Boston Globe journalist. And yet some other Boston players are ranked too high.

Dropping Willis Reed from the list is ridiculous. I'd take him over most of the players he ranked in the 40s.

You guys don't know Boston media very well. They intentionally do shit like this all the time to get attention. Before the Red Sox won in 2004, the Boston media discovered click bait in the newspaper before it existed on the Internet.
