He is starting to look like Kevin Love out there.

Demarcus Cousins is another empty stats big man.

A few more years of no playoffs or 1st round exits and he'll be the next Twolves KG.

lol look at his team. that's hot injured trash. he dragged the same trash team into the PO last season. Now he also bulked up too quick and he might get injured a lot because of this (situation is very similar to bosh in '09), he should stay skinny.

cousins on the other hand is an idiot. he'll never amount to shit for a good team, if there is anybody in this league that deserves the empty stats label, that man is cousins.

and lol at love being empty stats. love is an intelligent competitor putting 20/10 for a contender and he also dragged a trash roster to 40+ wins in minny.

shit thread son:facepalm

So everybody is an idiot for calling Davis and Love empty stats, but you're soooo convinced of Cousins being the definition for empty stats? :oldlol:

lol son, basketball isn't always played on the court. Cousins is very talented but he is dumb, he has ZERO leadership or heart and has been by all accounts a cancer in the lockerroom, not only under this failed administration but also the previous one.

Why can't cousins do what love or davis did? He even has a better roster than what the other had. If you ever played organized ball you'd know what a huge negative is to have a diva like cousins as you best player. Such teams ALWAYS underperform.

Hence empty stats.

Davis needs to get out of NO ASAP. He'd be a great star along Westbrook when Durant leaves. Or he could be part of the Spurs 3 headed monster once Manu, Timmy and Tony retire. :applause:

Certain teams will just be shit forever... NO and the Kings are two such teams..
They both have beast centers that all the other teams would kill for, and they surround them with garbage and useless /coaches who dont fit :facepalm

When he has a real team and can't get anything done for years.

Will never happen...the minute he gets a real team they'll be contenders.

Hopefully he gets one at some point, but he might not with those morons in New Orleans calling the shots.

Davis makes your offense better because he is an excellent finisher. Davis adds an extra dimensions to your defense.

What Davis lacks is one on one ability on both offense and defense...Meaning that when you need him to step up when the defense has taken stuff away, he doesnt always have it.

Meh. They both have garbage organizations that don't know how to build a decent roster. Not sure why NO got rid of the coach that got them to the playoffs just to hire one with a losing record.

Except Davis has already made the playoffs. Something Love & Cousins couldn't do

Playing on a crap team doesnt make ones stats empty. Plenty of all-time greats (including GOAT) played out of their minds and got nowhere until they got decent teams.

As far as AD is concerned, he needs to bolt ASAP.

His first step is to quit being injured. And being on another team isn't going to cure that.

But it does look like he is more suited to be a number 2 than a number 1 guy. Similar to Garnett/Pippen.

put rookie Tim Duncan on that team and they are a top 10 team.

No, they definitely wouldnt. Unless they get Pop too and have some time to properly draft/sign players.

After last season I was expecting the Pelicans to take a step forward. Especially with Davis coming into his own. Now he's always injured or banged up, and the Pelicans fired the coach that got them to the playoffs in Williams to hire Gentry who hasn't done anything relevant in 5 years...plus Gentry got fired in the middle of last season for the Suns going 13-28.

The New Orleans front office doesn't make any sense.

when healthy they have a decent team. I know they havent been healthy but Duncan makes them a lot better. Also, Duncan was a good deal better then this version of Davis as a rookie. It wasn't Pop, it was from Day 1.
