But that's painting people with an incredibly broad brush again.

A bully who threatens to beat you or other people up and control you through fear and terror is a terrorist when using an insanely broad brush.

Specifically, gang violence is gang violence. So there's nothing wrong with labeling a gang violence situation as gang violence.

Just like there's nothing wrong with labeling a crazy lone shooter, as a crazy lone shooter.

I don't get why people think it is an injustice to omit the terror label any time a more specific and much more accurate descriptive label is chosen to be used instead.

terrorism isn't just controlling someone through fear and terror.....

if these gangs beat people up for not supporting their views and goals to legalise crack cocaine then maybe it'd be terrorism. If they are just beating you up and taking your lunch money then no.
