You truly have been there or you just googled that stuff? :eek: My parents do still live there, the place has been slowly dying for the past 25 years unfortunately, left Red Riverbank/(Cherven bryag) after i finished high school 8-9 years ago.

It seemed familiar knowing ive been in Bulgaria 2-3 times so i googled it & it sure is the place ive been to once, me and that friend are very keen flyfishers & so have been in many places allover Balkans in search for good trout rivers, i actually met him near the border of Bulgaria (Dimitrovgrad, Serbia, many Bulgarians there i guess), we have been 2 times in Zlatna Panega aswell, one of my favorite flyfishing spots, which also is i think pretty close to Cherven. Bulgaria has amazing nature / rivers / scenery, well, as long as you are in the wilderness, many of the towns had clogged up rivers with much garbage, usual problem in many towns in Balkans, hate that

Nice :applause: Whats your friend's name? Actually both rivers, merge right outside of town. Municipal mayors are allegedly working to clean up river beds, due to the risks of floods in the spring, but meh...you know have things happen around here.As for the nature of the Balkans :bowdown: :bowdown:
