I can totally see Curry ending up with 20+ on that list. Point god who never colluded on a tough conference!

Kobe being clutch is a myth. He just shot a majority of the end game shots, so of course the occasional one was bound to go in.

What does team w/l (without the context of what they had to work with around them) have anything to do with clutch (ie. miss/makes/production in the last seconds of a game)?

Kobe PASSED the clutch gene??

Okay, so here we have a false premise. Because obviously, Kobe is not clutch.

So Melo had it

Yes, he was very efficient in the clutch, in the regular season at least.

And that's with him being (for Carmelo) terrible on clutch shots as a knick. His late game shooting while with the Nugs was ridiculously good.

Because anyone can be clutch against the 41-41 wiz...

Kobetards ignoring LeBron beat the Pacers (on pace for 52 wins in 2012 IIRC) and Thunder (on pace for 60 or so wins IIRC) and the 39-27 Celtics, who had a chance to win 50 but weren't on pace, in 2012 playoffs. Also the 2013 Pacers won 49, but only played 81 games. By their insane logic, LeBron won a ring with a 40-something win team.

Well you can have Melo down the stretch.

I will go with 2000/2001/2002/2003/2008/2009/2010/2013 Kobe

Back in the day, it didn't get more CLUTCH than the Mamba. Vino had ice in his veins. Opposing defenses had to triple team him. Now Curry possesses the gene. It's only a matter of time until he too is triple teamed.

They didn't have to triple team him, they just knew he wouldn't pass so why bother guarding anybody else. Triple Kobe and leave 2 rebounders. Sound strategy.

They most certainly had to triple team him. Kobe is the best 1v1 player ever, hell, he's the best 2v1 player ever too. Dare I say best 3v1 player? Who else could score at will vs 3 legit defenders so consistently?

Genes are hereditary. You can't pass on something you didn't have.
