And Ginobili's, too.
Those are the guys we should actually be celebrating in every arena when they take the court for the last time. The guys who've always done it the right way, and NOT for the attention.
Kobe always does things the wrong way, STRICTLY for attention.
What does this say about the psyche of all the fans and journalists who are heaping praise and celebration on Kobe during this vomtious "farewell tour" he's contrived for himself?

Why? Duncan is still a great player and is gonna anchor one of the top defenses in the league. His team might win the title or at the very least reach the conference finals. Do not compare his situation with that of a scrub shooting 30% for the season.

I don't see Duncan retiring just yet
Manu, most likely, I think KG and Carter will retire as well

Duncan is like me, Kobe is going the way of Peyton. Different situations, Duncan and I have years left of playing at an elite level.

kobe kids have convinced that because of duncan's past greatness, he should therefore sabotage his current team in pursuit of individual glory, fail at that, and make a complete *ss out of himself. its the most alpha way to go out.

Doctor J, Kareem, Jordan, and Derek Jeter all had "fairwell tours" and nobody really gave a shit.
Enough of the fake outrage, y'all just looking to nitpick everything Bean does. :lol

Manu maybe, but I think Duncan is gonna pull a Kareem and play in his 40's. Why not? He still got it, and it's not like he would have to carry the Spurs either. Dude has Aldridge/West/Diaw/Bonner as his front court teammates, ample amount of rest, star player in Kawhi, loads of role players and every free agency always have players interested in joining the team...I can definitely see him playing past this season.

Everything is playing out as it should, I think Duncan would probably be embarrassed to have his behind kissed and all the fake people around the league pretending like they like him even though he destroyed their squads.
