Also, people probably know this, but his effeciency this year pretty much makes him the GOAT scorer. and it really isnt even a contest.
As in, so far, in terms of volume, if we assume he plays 48 minutes a game
and adjust his shots accordingly,
and assume that out of the 5.1 added on 2 point shots, he makes 45% of them (which is extremely unlikely, as he is averaging a higher percentage in the paint than deandre and shaq)
and adjust his 3 point shots for volume as well, and assume that out of the 6 added on, he makes 2 of them (obviously even more unlikely)
and adjust for free throws
He would be scoring 45.6ppg
on 55% from 2 point range, and 41% from 3.
volume would effect his fg%, so lets just put it this way
2% lower than peak shaq inside the arc
better than ray allen from outside the arc
and this is assuming he shoots 33% from outside of 3, and 45 percent from 2 the rest of the way, which is extremely unlikely.
the reason im asking this is, anyone who watches basketball can see that he only scores when he feels the need to. as in, it seems like whenever the warriors are in a bind, or are winning by less than 10, he just goes on a 10+ streak.
