Here's the difference between Embiid and Oden: Oden actually looks old (he looked 50 yrs old even back in high school) which means he may have some type of premature-aging disorder which is why he fell apart so quickly (basically like a 50 yr old man that injures his back or something and takes forever to recover). However, Embiid actually looks like a 21 yr old which leads me to believe that his injuries have more to do with him still growing than simply being the equivalent of a brittle old man with brittle limbs.

He might fall apart like Greg Oden but he's still young, at Kansas the name being thrown around all the time was Olajuwon.
