If we assume Jordan's 3000 college minutes translates to 1000 NBA minutes, that means Jordan reached 43,300 minutes right before the 1998 playoffs.

Here's Jordan's 1998 playoffs stats at 35 years old vs. Lebron's 2016 regular season stats at 30 years old:

MJ 1998 PLAYOFFS:. 32.4 ppg.. 1.6 oreb.. 3.8 dreb.. 3.5 apg.. 2.1 tov.. 1.5 spg.. 0.6 bpg.. 46.2 fg.. 54.5 ts.. 117 ORtg.. 28.1 PER
LBJ 2016 REG SEAS: 24.8 ppg.. 1.2 oreb.. 6.0 dreb.. 6.4 apg.. 3.2 tov.. 1.3 spg.. 0.7 bpg.. 50.6 fg.. 57.4 ts.. 114 ORtg.. 26.6 PER

Btw, Lebron's body is only 30 years old, and therefore better equipped to handle 43k minutes than MJ's much older, 35-year old body... MJ had less prime explosion ability left at 35, than Lebron still has at 30.

Tbh, it's become too easy to demonstrate MJ's superiority to Lebron... From now on, I'm going to focus on Curry, since he can at least match some of MJ's offense and skill.

Arguing this much about MJ is like playing a video game all day and night that you suck at with cheat codes.

His resume, numbers, and impact speak for itself. You arguing this much regarding him is a waste of time.

Literally no one would have any different opinion about him if you didn't exist.

I've been saying since the start of the season that Bron is an afterthought and all focus is on Curry.

And yet you didn't have this opinion a year ago.. You've been one of the most vehement anti-Jordan posters..

But it appears that gradually, you've seen the light.. :applause:

It's called passing time while we wait for the next MJ. I'd rather read 3ball's post that listen to the squeaker lebron stans on here.

You sure I didn't have that opinion a year ago?

I'm anti-you. Not anti-Jordan.

You obviously are unaware of the joys of breaking Lebronstans delusions.

That being said... Lebron will probably get rematch with the Warriors this year in the Finals.. And he'll have a healthy team, so he won't be required to take a ton of shots and carry his team (which he can't do at sufficient efficiency to win anyway).

Due to his stacked team, he'll probably only need to average 23-25 ppg to make the Finals which is the same as he did with Miami's stacked teams.. This is ridiculously low compared to the PPG that Jordan needed to make Finals (nothing less than 31 ppg).

Pretty much everyone is. Westbrook, George, Durant, Kawhi have all had great seasons and they're backpage stories. This season right now is about two things: curry/warriors and Kobe's last dance.

Slightly less than the minutes OP spends on a monthly basis arguing with people about a player who has been retired over 10 years...

It's more fun to argue Wilt is GOAT.

Lol that is what you say, but when 3Ball hasn't for a couple of days all you retards come out of the woodwork and suddenly get amnesia and begin posting Lebron = GOAT stuff.

If you're going to assume and use college minutes then why not add the estimated minutes MJ missed when he quit the league for almost 2yrs? Plus add the reg. season minutes he missed in 85-86 when he was injured.

Fact is, MJ would have got to 43k a lot quicker / younger if he didn't quit and miss a ton of reg. season games plus some postseason games.

MJ might have been 35yrs old in 1998 but he was equipped to take on those minutes due to quitting.

LeBron? Who's that? Is he any good? Can the Heat get him?
