Irving's injury was as freak an incident as Love's. Cracking your kneecap? And, that's what it was from the start. There's a reason that it was misdiagnosed a mysterious case of "tendinitis" that didn't seem to be getting any better regardless of how much rest it got (unlike actual tendinitis).
