Stephen Curry will be a bust if he is taken in the top 5.

He will be unable to create his own shot against bigger, stronger, faster players, and his jumper won't fall with under 10 shots a game (he is a volume shooter).

The Arenas comparison is stupid. He is twice the athlete Curry is much stronger.

Stephen Curry will be fine as long as he's in an offense where he doesn't have to handle the primary ball handling skills and instead offers as a 2nd ball handler ie. the Lakers, the Cavs, the Heat, the Blazers.

Basically, he needs a superstar wing talent to mask his deficiencies as the primary decision maker.

I believe he has the talent to be a very valuable player in the NBA. As for a NBA comparison, it's between Mo Williams and Jason Terry I guess.

He is a slightly better version of Boobie Gibson.

Curry aint no Gilbert Arenas. Stop with the Overating. Curry = JJ redick so far. Until he proves otherwise.

Best Case: Mike Bibby
Worst Case: Eddie House
Most Likely: Dana Barros

Curry is small. Unlike a guy like Ben Gordon, who roughly the same height as Curry, Curry does not have long arms or excellent upper body strength. To me Curry's athleticism and skills do not combine to overcome how small is he.

Curry can, and likely will, be a quality player at the NBA level. However I don't ever see him being anything worth really discussing at length.

You know what cracks me up? The Da KO King poster watches so much college ball, and if you go over his opinions and thoughts, you'll see he is wrong like 90% of the time in terms of who he thinks will be a good player.

His comparisons are hardly ever spot on either.

He has some sweet handles though.

the first one isn't wrong minus the "bust" part. He can't create shots against bigger players, he needs 2-3 screens set. Arenas is also a much better athlete than curry. The guy just severely underestimated stephs shooting ability.

These threads are always fun. For sure, absolute zero people on here would have believed Steph would turn into this. Bearing in mind that the TWolves chose TWO point guards infront of him in this draft. One being Rubio, who didn't come to the NBA for a couple of years, and the other being Johnny Flynn.. Who is.. Well.. Yeah.
