I think Noel's size could cause problems but I say put the freshman on him and force him to beat you and stay home on everyone else. Noel EXPLODES for 12 points but the 76ers still get blown out.

Thoughts?

HS/College would get smoked by the Sixers. Cut the nonsense.

Sixers would probably blow out every past NCAA champ by 50+

If you took the 11th man off every NBA team and created a 13 man roster, would that be better than the Sixers?

How did you even find this 2 day old thread?
:biggums:

Anyway, I think my varsity team could give them fits. lil Jimmy Vanderneil may only be 5'6 and weigh 120lbs and prepubescent and gets bullied by the chess club every tuesday but he can shoot like 30% from 3 if he's given 10feet of open "air" space. If he can go off and get in Robert Convington's head I think it's a wrap.

This is an obvious troll thread but it is funny how this idea comes up every now and then. The worst NBA team ever is better than the best college team ever. Because every single player on that NBA team is a pro. So even if you have two or three stars. Hell even 5. The bench disparity in talent will be massive.

The Sixers may suck, but they're not THAT bad

Okafor was the best player on a National Championship team
Noel was the best player and defender in college as a freshman

I really don't think so. There may be a talent gap but teamwork and cohesion can overcome it. See 2004 USA basketball. Especially when you take a look at college teams from back in the day like Alcindor or Walton's. Back then guys weren't one and done so they'd be even older than some of the rookies and sophs on some of these all time WOAT teams.

I would take 84 UNC (a team that didn't even win it all) over the worst NBA team.

Nobody on my varsity team would even sniff the NBA. Perhaps 1 would have a chance at the D-League.

How are the 6ers going to guard a 21 year old Lew Alcindor? You know the guy who his next year in the NBA dropped 29/14 on > 50%. The number 3 overall pick also on that team. 6 other NBA players on that team at 20+
