Your facts are correct but my intention was to point out a horrific incident that happened a few years ago.

I don't recall the complete details but my intention was to simply point out that a nightmarish incident did happen and the media hardly covered it.

Why? Because it wasn't "racially" motivated.
And when I say "racially" motivated, I mean it wasn't a minority killing a white person or vice versa. Around the same time a number of black people were killed in America and the media followed that story far closely. Why? Because it involved a white person killing a black person.

That's my point.

The very first FACT you hear on the news today is the skin color of the victim and the killer. There's nothing wrong with stating these facts, but you should understand the motive behind stating these facts.
