I wouldn't mind seeing Miami and Golden State in the finals. Miami has a better bandwagon crowd than Cleveland. Cleveland's crowd is ass.

Didn't you just say the other day that Dragic and Whiteside are the Heat's best players? Wouldn't it be no excuses for them? Since Wade and Bosh are apparently role players, as long as they're putting up solid role player numbers they're doing their job. Amirite?

What planet are you from? Cavaliers are no.1 in the East without Irving, and Shumpert.

The Good news is that they might play later this month.

Damn right. I mean, I can't overstate the luxury of having role players who are giving you 20/5/4 and 17/9 with 22 PER's. Definitely no excuses for Dragic and Whiteside. If they can't get it done this year, they are both going to drop significantly in my all-time rankings.

This is basically what OP is trying to get at. Favourite or underdog.... really doesnt matter. Winning is winning. Losing is losing

So you're telling me it only took a season for Miami to get back to the top after a certain someone up and left em? That player definitely does not have GOAT impact

They also have the most athletic guy in the history of the league (Green) and the lock for ROY (Winslow).

Absolutely no excuses for Dwywuywywyane Weighed. If he fails this year he's out of my top 100.

Lebron doe..man he's carrying these Cleveland scrubs  What a GOAT

don't fully buy into the heat yet. They've had a heavy home schedule so not sure if they are top 5 in the East. Still have Cle, Atl, Chi, and Tor ahead of them. Mia might be in the Cha, Det, Bos tier than the top one but with how close the east is it is difficult to say if any of the teams are in one tire vs. another. Same thing goes for 3rd tire east teams. For example Orl might not be a 3rd tier team at all and have been out playing the so called top teams

This is pretty true. The Heat's great record so far is due to so many home games, and even then they aren't winning the ones they should (vs. BOS, vs. WAS). I'm relieved that they've done so well, but losing these easy games is really concerning for me, the great teams don't do that crap. Still though, No excuses

it all comes down to health. if they can stay healthy, which i doubt, then they should be a legit east contender.
