You know what's funny is I think the "he's a rugby player" stigma has stuck with him and players are afraid to test his rough housing and delivery of physical punishment. His energy combined with that stigma is scary to most players especially after the questionable incidents where it seemed like he might have intentionally took the legs out of guys.

What makes it funny is that I read that he denied playing rugby and said he was a soccer player and the journalist who said it was rugby had it wrong. I really think a lot of the rough play he does is incidental and is just part of his skittish sort of clumsy looking style of play and energy. I think players have him pegged wrong, they are making him out to be way scarier and more deliberate at harming them than he actually is. That being said, he is a legitimate risk to injure them so maybe it's better they give him some distance when he goes into wrecking ball defense mode.

Delly is the only player I've ever seen shut down Steph Curry. One game or not, he's the only one who's ever done it - he literally shut him down superstars never get shut down like that. It tainted the entire series for Curry. His production went back up, but it never elevated enough to outplay Iggy.

No he didn't. Dellavadova locked Curry up consistently the entire series, all Curry did was just take a shitload of shots. Curry had like one good game.
