Being hurt caused Green to jettison his starting spot in GSW and ultimately, it got him traded to BOS, where he started the beginning of the season, but is now averaging 15 minutes a game off the bench.

It'd be questionable. He was always a little physically outmatched against many opponents. It's a little worse now that he's near the end of his career. His saavy can only get him so far.

He misses a lot of rim finishes he used to never miss. He's still great inside 15 feet, but he's also had a many frustrating turnovers especially trying to make homerun passes from the high post.

That said he still has great moments. He's caught a lot of tough passes and he can still create a shot out of nothing. He's also made some surprising defensive plays including defending Cousins and getting steals.

He's gotten a bit older but he can still put up 16/10 with terrible efficiency on a lottery team as the first option

He's been on the injury list for Boston. Brad isn't the type to throw him back in the starting position right away. Even though at this point he's better off the bench.

Actually he was only injured for a couple games where he barely would have played. He was already not starting.

He lost his starting role early on because he didn't fit and the Celtics were terrible defensively with Lee and Zeller as their starting big men.

Lee works off the bench because it hides his subpar defense and he's been versatile and offensively efficient against second-line guys. He's perfect in this role, and Brad can leave him in against soft big men like Mirotic for extra minutes.

Sullinger, Olynyk, and Amir are just better for the Celtics. Not to mention every time Jerebko hits the court the Celtics play amazing despite not finding any offense on the team. There just aren't enough minutes for our frontcourt depth.

You just can't be that bad defensively in today's NBA. Sorry.
