Sad part is that this team could vie for a playoffs spot if they tried to foster a winning culture, but Sam Hinkie thinks this team is better off in the long term by maximizing their losses to stockpile more talent in the draft.

It makes me wonder if this tanking process will be perpetuated as some of their draftees bolt away in free-agency periods, because no one wants to invest the prime of their career on this team; you could tell Jahlil Okafor was dejected enough when he was selected.
