MJ was the only prime, male lion in his pride and Pip and Grant were merely sub-adult, beta males and couldn't help MJ much in their clashes whereas the Pistons were a pride with 5-8 prime, male lions. 1 against 5-8 isn't fair. That's what'd matter the most for the Bulls vs Warriors. How the "other guys" play. MJ isn't going to shut anyone down on a team that can pass and shoot so well. You need the guys who will be hedging/shading/switching to do their job.
