Took me like 8 or 9 hrs figuring out all the cables, need to have a friend look it over cuz it's not starting right :(

is it POSTing?The PSU starts when I push start button, but there's no display on the monitor and the fans don't start.

both cpu/case fans dont start up?CPU Fan is ok, case fans don't start up even tho I plugged it into the PSU. I probably wired it wrong, but I don't wanna mess anything else up till my friend looks at it.

If the PSU starts and other stuff doesnt, make sure that your motherboard is properly connected. I have a feeling you are just not powering your mobo.

It looks nice. Yeah, it sounds like the motherboard isn't connected properly. Puck is showing you the right pic. Make sure they are in the proper slots..they are small and maybe hard to read on the mobo.

Thanks, it's a beauty (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128835&cm_re=gigabyte_z170-_-13-128-835-_-Product). Big upgrade relative to my old system (mid tier AM3 board), definitely worth the money.

2011-12 was the last time I did a clean build so it might not be the same thing. Fan configuration looks exactly the same, as does the LED lighting. I like your case slightly more.

I honestly haven't gamed enough in the last couple of years to warrant paying for a new CPU/mobo. I'm still running a AMD Phenom X4 955 Black Edition. The new i7's look nice but again...not really worth the expense anymore since I don't play anything that needs that much hardware.

I have a corsair vengeance keyboard/mouse and steelseries siberia for headset. The case is actually black instead of white also and i'm using my old 19' as a separate monitor :cheers:

Eh, I make no excuses for it. I started on Diablo and Warcraft in my early-to-mid teens and just...stuck with them. Every time I try another MMO, I get bored quickly.

If I remember correctly, the armour set dungeons are going to have specific clear requirements (like certain sets require you to get x number of kills with a specific skill) though I don't know what the rewards are.

I was playing T6-T8 with my monk then randomly decided to pick up a WD for the first time...wow. I haven't played in a month or so but I went from tier ~35 grifts to clearing 55+ with ease, the WD sets are insane.

I think I've got a monk, a multishot DH, Helltooth WD, and a WW barbarian. Monk/barbarian are probably my favourite classes to play but the DH/WD are stupid powerful without requiring any really rare gear.
