Nah. I feel like I read something last time he talked about running for President...forget where the profile was and I couldn't find the article again if I really wanted to.

Basically, the majority of the money he's made has been through just making himself into the celebrity brand he is. TV shows and licensing and appearances and every other way he's managed to capitalize on just being Donald. He's not a billionaire on that though; he still lives on the money his dad left behind. At one point, he had a personal (not corporate) debt of something like $950 million or something absurd. The stories of his bankruptcies are nothing new. He's flaked out on loan after loan over the course of the last 15-20 years or so.

He HAS made himself rich just by being a celebrity, though...so he's not lying there. But he certainly is not a proficient businessman.

No. Four of his businesses have filed for bankruptcy which means that four of his businesses were probably doing badly but that's not the same thing as him being broke. The man has never been within millions of what the average person would call poor.

It's sad all around really. If he brings up important issues worth discussing, we should discuss them. Otherwise we should keepfocus on issues, not the merits of Trump's character and personality. But he's literally all that liberals wanna talk about.

Trump also got million dollar personal loans from his family several times. Including 10 million from his dad when his businesses were shaky. Another time his father bought 3.5 million casino chips but never used them, so trump could make an interest payment
