Was attentionally preoccupied with the Warriors game that I didn't even glimpse at the boxscore until now.

D'Angelo Russell = 15 points and 5 assists at half-time; that out-contributes his seasonal average. It looks like he's finally found his breakthrough in the learning curve of the NBA. :applause:

Damn. Just box score watchin but it looks like I wasn't crazy after all for holding on to Russell all year in fantasy. How's he doing on the eye test, boys?

Russell is a f*cking stud. A ton of people are gonna look like complete morons for writing him off early.

Still not doing as much PG work as I would like.

But his shot is starting to fall.

Yo, Millbuck, this will crack you up (assuming you allow yourself to have a sense of humor about MCW): someone in my ISh fantasy league traded MCW for Kyrie, I called him out saying wtf, and he says yeah well you haven't cut Russell.
lol

Hopefully Scott won't punish him for doing too well

Mark Jackson being an ass tonight. Van Gundy should ask him about the W's.

No, I don't think so.

Not since I tuned in anyway (2nd half).

I am annihilating that league, dude. I am the only undefeated team (everyone else has lost at least twice), I blow out my opponent most weeks, and am doing so currently.

My team right now is:

KD
Bledsoe
Porzingis
Russell
Your boy Giannis
Millsap (absolute stud in fantasy)
Kelly Olynyk (just picked up after tonight)
Drummond
Batum
Will Barton
Gorgui Dieng
Bradley
Beal
C.J. Miles

And i picked up valanciunas and hes on my injury reserve list

That's because the offense in the 2nd half has been ISO after ISO. Watch a replay of the 1st half when you get the chance.

9-23 for Russell now.

And over-dribbling on every play.

The Lakers are going to fall to 3-20 (!) Let's see if they break last season's record for fewest wins in franchise history (21).
That would be astonishing. They gained Russell, Hibbert, BBryant and Randle (who didn't really play last year ) and they look even worse!

Is Boban the Spurs secret counter to GSW's small ball

Gave Scott more to work with.

Bad move.

Kobe handicapped them for most of the opening part of the season with his atrocious play on both ends of the court. They'll play a little better if he's accepted limited minutes and being a 12-13 ppg role player status, which he is at this point. Credit to him for realising what he is and showing some maturity by not jacking off 30 shots at the tune of 30%fg.

Let's see how the rest of the season plays out. Russell is developing and is certainly playing better with his increased usage rate than Kobe was earlier. This is what most lakers fans wanted. Long may this continue.

Kobe is a result of Scott as much as Jackson was.

There is nothing good about how the Lakers play.

If a player gets hot, then they look good for a game or two.

But that's it.

Disagree. And the majority of laker fans would like to see Russell have the ball than a 30% shooter at this point. Kobe has not just been awful. He's one of the worst players in the entire league. Having Russell take his minutes is a good step in the right direction.

Solid game from Russell tonight as well. He'll keep improving. The Lakers will be in good hands.
