View Full Version : Honestly I would take current Draymond Green over 12-14 Wade

Especially when durability and defense are taken into consideration

He's a legit 3 point shooter, and doesnt clog the lanes like Wade does

He's averaging 14/9/8 with 1.4 blocks a game, and elite defense

as a comparison Wade averaged only 16/4/4/ in the 2013 playoffs, and 14/4/4 in the 2014 Finals :biggums:

He just got a 5x5 game now, his versitility just trumps Wade to another level.

Overall his rebounding, passing, and defense is elite, and his 3 point shooting spaces the floor and creates mismatches on offense

So Draymond Green >> 12-14 Wade

Klay Thompson is the best SG in the league

And Iguodala is the reigning FMVP :biggums:

Thats without even talking about harrison barnes, bogut etc

Yet people want to act like Curry has no help???

Well yea....Wade wasn't very good in the 13 and 14 playoffs due to injuries

So you'd take a top 15 or so healthy player over an injured player?

Okay...

Okay...

If its a reoccurring issue, like Wades knees, its no longer an injury, but who that player is.

Definitely 2014 Wade.

Green is ridiculous.

Why is OP so bad at posting stats? :oldlol:

Draymond entering this game was averaging 13.0 ppg, 8.5 rpg, and 7.0 apg.

Uhmm Wade was not healthy and Draymond is top 15 player, so obviously.

More like, they went 24-0 inspite of Curry, he shot 9-27 tonight, and a putrid 3-14 from 2 point range . His lack of defense is not helping either

Wouldn't say inspite of Curry but Draymond was the best player on gsw.

Wait a minute...there are people who say Curry has no help?

I've never heard that at all.

Most fans know that Klay, Green, and Igoudala are great help.

And many hardcore fans know that Barnes, Bogut, Speights, and Livingston are good help as well...and even a guy that gets 0 minutes on this team is capable of giving an average team a good 20-25 minutes (Jason Thompson).

Curry tonight sucks, but I bet Bron's terribly inefficient finals performance was commendable right

36/13/9 on 40% with elite defense >>>>> 33% shooting with 0 defense

Hard to argue with the results, Wade never went 24-0 to start a year or had a 28 game winning streak, or was as dominant as Green in that 12-14 stretch. If we changed Wade's years to like 09-11 it'd be a different story, however seeing as you asked for that version of Wade, I must agree with you here.

You've said that at least 10 times in a bunch of different threads. I'll say this once.

It's arguable while Green is only the the 3-4th option on this team :biggums:

Wade has not been an all-star caliber player since 2012, I would take the 2014 and onward Draymond Green over the 2012-2014 Wade also. And over Bosh as well. Wade and Bosh are overrated if you put them in the same category with Westbrook, Harden, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green etc.

You don't think prime Wade belongs in that group?

Draymond wouldn't look nearly as good next to Lebron. He wouldn't have the ball in his hands enough to get the current assist numbers, he wouldn't have nearly as much freedom and space playing next to lebron either.

Draymond benefits greatly from Curry getting doubled at the 3pt line, Green almost always has a wide open lane to either dish or drive.

And that's before even talking about FMVP Iggy and All star Klay Thompson :biggums:

So dumb.yeah if u wanna account an injuried wade, but wade for the most part of the years is top 10 2012,top 15-20 2013-2014 .green is a role player anyway you slice it ..
