He was awful the first three quarters, and that's putting it nicely. I can't recall the last time he looked as terrible as he did the first three quarters of last night's game. It was some truly awful, ugly, uninspired, lazy basketball. So even though he's Kevin Durant, I was still a little bit surprised he snapped out of his funk and took over down the stretch with some clutch shots.

That ridiculous three KD drained right after the Jazz had clawed all the way back to tie the game? I think that was one of, like, three times I've ever yelled at the TV/at Durant because I was pissed off at his shot selection. I mean given his terrible play up until that point, and given that he had a couple of defenders in his air space, and given that he was way off-balance, I was legitimately pissed off at him for taking the shot...but he drilled it and that was that.

He looks awful because he lets Westbrook run the show. Durant is a slower more methodical player, not fit for Russel DAntony Westbrook.

Those last 4 plays he made last night was amazing, that's the kind of dominance and clutchness ONLY Durant has in the current league.

It's not about Westbrook. They both played well against the Hawks. Durant is clearly the closer, but he can't do it for 48 mins especially against a tough team. We saw what happened against the Grizzlies in the playoffs.
